Dr. Ravneet Preet Singh Bedi has made remarkable contributions to the advancement of education and regional development in Punjab through a blend of visionary leadership, effective administration, and deep alignment with the values championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under the guiding vision of the Viksit Bharat Mission, initiated by Prime Minister Modi to transform India into a developed and self-reliant nation by 2047, Dr. Bedi has emerged as a dynamic force in integrating innovation, inclusivity, and excellence within the educational framework. The mission’s emphasis on fostering creativity, empowering youth, and revolutionizing learning systems resonates strongly with Dr. Bedi’s philosophy of education as a catalyst for national growth. Under his supervision, IKGPTU has made great progress in putting NEP 2020 into action in its operations. This has created a learning space that is useful to people all around the globe, adaptable, and covers many fields. He has worked to make the Prime Minister’s goal of “Education for All, Empowerment for All” a reality via strategic planning. This means that students from the most remote parts of Punjab may be able to acquire a better higher education via online classes and other digital tools. He has brought together people from the fields of academia, business, and the global knowledge society. His work has helped IKGPTU become a contemporary and forward-thinking school by making it easier for students to study and intern abroad and by encouraging institutions to work together and share ideas.

Dr Bedi has transformed the university from a conventional technical institution into a dynamic hub of creativity, innovation, and social responsibility. His visionary leadership has strengthened academia–industry collaboration, introduced skill-based curricula, and established incubation centres that echo Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for Atmanirbhar Bharat.  He firmly believes that education must go beyond employability—it should shape responsible, informed citizens capable of building a fair, sustainable, and progressive society. “The future of India will be shaped by our youth,” he affirms. “We are preparing a generation that thinks globally and acts nationally, guided by the NEP 2020 and the Viksit Bharat framework.” He has led significant initiatives such as adopting a global curriculum, implementing international learning management systems, and promoting podcasts and educational videos in Punjabi to make global knowledge on AI and Blockchain accessible to regional learners. Beyond institutional reforms, Dr. Bedi’s mission is to empower Punjab’s youth through modern pedagogy, skill enhancement, and cultural rootedness. His efforts exemplify how localized excellence can drive national progress—making Punjab a shining model for innovative education in the Viksit Bharat movement.

His vision for education is both patriotic and compassionate. He believes that strengthening Punjab’s educational framework directly contributes to building a stronger India. Under his leadership, universities are evolving into centers of ethics, creativity, and innovation—much like how the Prime Minister’s leadership has elevated India’s global stature. Dr. Bedi’s ability to blend academic rigor with social responsibility has made him a key architect of educational transformation in North India. Guided by his conviction that “a developed Punjab is the cornerstone of a developed India,” he continues to inspire educators and students alike to turn aspiration into action.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has officially announced the final results of the prestigious Group I Examination 2024, marking a significant milestone for civil service aspirants across the state. Among the 90 candidates selected for top administrative roles, an impressive 47 are students of Shankar IAS Academy, reaffirming the institution’s position as a premier centre for civil services preparation.

The TNPSC Group I Examination is known for its rigorous three-stage selection process: Preliminary, Mains, and Interview. The Preliminary Examination, conducted on 13 July 2024, witnessed the participation of 1,59,887 candidates. Of these, only 1,888 qualified for the Mains Examination, held between 10 and 13 December 2024.

Subsequently, 190 candidates were shortlisted for the final Interview round, which took place on 7, 8, and 9 April 2025. With the announcement of results today, it has been revealed that over 50% of the successful candidates are from Shankar IAS Academy—a remarkable feat that highlights the academy’s sustained excellence and deep-rooted impact on public service preparation in Tamil Nadu.

A Defining Achievement

Of the 190 individuals who appeared for the final interview, a staggering 121 were students of Shankar IAS Academy, showcasing the academy’s extensive reach and trusted reputation. The fact that 47 of them have made it to the final list is a powerful testament to the institution’s high standards of mentorship and exam-oriented training.
